Rule #1: Never go ANYWHERE without a knife...or two
And also, do any of you guys (maybe Jared) know what to do to protect a knife design so it doesn't get copied or stolen? I know Mantis has this problem some and I'm just wondering if a smaller custom maker would have to deal with the same problem of if anything can be done about it. Thanks!

Thats a cool looking design! You can patent your design, but it's really not worth the trouble and money it would cost to protect it. Most knife makers are really great people, and they do not like copying other makers designs. There are some out there who do nothing but copy other's work, but they are few and far between. You're design should be pretty safe, so don't be afraid to show it off.

Awesome! Thanks!I guess I didn't say on here like on fb, but the design is a 2 finger grip, which I have found to be almost as strong as a full grip for normal cutting. The lanyard will also act like the rest of the handle; you can grip it with the last two fingers and it makes your grip that much more secure. This knife will be a very good slicer

nice lil PokieMon stubby
not bad at all. keep grinding and polishing
as for copyright/patent... I'm out, other than to suggest
signature/logo a stamp somewhere and record it and or
the design drawings, and date it. copying is going to
happen. just one of those sad things we have to live
with these days.

Very true. I'm not too worried about it right now. Just ready to get back to grinding.

We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will.
